Abstract:
Monitoring the SU UMa-type cataclysmic variable 0409-71 VW Hyi using both visual and CCD(V) optical methods to support NASA's FUSE satellite observations.
Justification:
Essential for planning satellite observations and understanding the behavior of the white dwarf in the system, including cooling between outbursts.
