Request to Monitor the CV SDSS J013132 for HST Observations

Active Dates: June 11, 2005 – June 18, 2005

Abstract:

Monitoring SDSS 013132 (Cet) for upcoming Hubble Space Telescope observations. SDSS J013132 is a suspected UGWZ dwarf nova discovered by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey with a quiescent magnitude of around V=18. Observations are requested to ensure it is not in outburst immediately prior to scheduled HST observation.

Justification:

To prevent damage to the ACS instrument on HST from potential outburst brightness of SDSS J013132 as it could damage the instrument if in outburst.

Requested Data Types:

Photometry
