Multicolor CCD campaign for AM Her to support XMM Newton observations AND BP Hyi eclipsing binary campaign
Abstract:
This campaign involves two main objectives: (1) Coordinating multicolor CCD photometry of the polar AM Her to support observations by the XMM Newton satellite; (2) Collecting CCD photometry for BP Hyi, an eclipsing binary in the SMC, to build a light curve and better understand its classification.
Justification:
AM Her and BP Hyi are subjects worthy of observation due to the unique and scarce data available, in support of space-based X-ray observations by XMM Newton and to gather more information about an interesting eclipsing binary, respectively.
