Supernova SN 2007sr in NGC 4038
Abstract:
The optical transient in NGC 4038 has been identified as a Type Ia supernova, SN 2007sr. It was determined to be a few days past maximum light on 2007 December 18.53 UT based upon spectroscopic template fitting.
Justification:
Follow-up observations for SN 2007sr, identified as a Type Ia supernova.
