Abstract:
This observing campaign focuses on the nova event in Aquila, V1721 Aql (Nova Aql 2008), discovered by K. Itagaki on September 22, 2008. The nova has shown broad, triple-peaked H-alpha and permitted OI emission.
Justification:
The observation of V1721 Aql is justified to study its broad, triple-peaked H-alpha and OI emissions and to monitor its fading pattern from magnitude 14.0 to 17.1.
