Abstract:
Nova Sco 2013 was discovered on June 3, 2013, with an unfiltered CCD magnitude of 11.1. The nova was confirmed by multiple observers and spectra taken showed a likely highly reddened nova.
Justification:
Observation and confirmation of Nova Sco 2013, its potential highly reddened nature and to track its photometric and spectroscopic evolution.
