Active Dates: March 8, 2014 – March 10, 2014
Abstract:
Nova Cephei 2014, also known as TCP J20542386+6017077 or V962 Cep, was discovered with an unfiltered CCD magnitude of 11.7 using a 105-mm f/4 camera lens + SBIG STL6303E camera. Low-resolution spectroscopy indicates it is an Fe II-type classical nova near maximum.
Justification:
Observations of all types (visual, CCD, DSLR, spectroscopy) are strongly encouraged in following the evolution of this nova.
