Abstract:

Nova Aquilae 2015 (ASASSN 15-qd, PNV J19215012+1509248) was independently discovered by Koichi Itagaki and the ASAS-SN survey. Initially reported as a U Gem-type dwarf nova, it was reclassified as a classical nova. Observations of all types are encouraged as this nova evolves.
