Anticipated primary eclipse of b Persei by the third star
Active Dates: Feb. 5, 2018 – Feb. 19, 2018
Abstract:
An AAVSO campaign on the bright star b Per has been launched to observe the predicted eclipse of the third star across the system during the week centered on February 12, 2018.
Justification:
To obtain high time-resolution observations of the bright star b Persei during the eclipse, which will help calibrate various offsets from different observing systems and contribute to understanding the system's dynamics and properties.
