AAVSO Alert Notice 616: Nova Sco 2018 No. 2 = PNV J16484962-4457032
Abstract:
Nova in Scorpius, discovered by Hideo Nishimura with a magnitude of 11.7 using a digital camera. Coordinates are R.A. 16 48 49.62 Decl. -44 57 03.2. Spectroscopy indicates it is a highly reddened nova. Recommended observations are visual, CCD, DSLR, and spectroscopy in multiple bands if possible.
Justification:
Enable studying any color changes and nova evolution.
