Alert Notice 754: Monitoring requested for 15 VY Scl cataclysmic variables in support of HST observations

Abstract:
AAVSO observers are requested to monitor 15 VY Scl novalike cataclysmic variables to support Hubble Space Telescope observations.
Justification:
HST observations need to be obtained during a low state when the white dwarf is the dominant source of light in the ultraviolet. Continuous nightly monitoring over the entire visible period is useful to detect the occurrence of a low state.
