Alert Notice 765: GP Com HST schedule moved forward
Active Dates: Jan. 18, 2022 – Feb. 12, 2022
Abstract:
The Hubble Space Telescope observations of the cataclysmic variable GP Com have been moved forward to January 18, 2022. Coverage is requested from now through February 12, 2022. Observers are requested to monitor GP Com to ensure successful scheduling of the HST observations.
Justification:
Monitoring is crucial to ensure the HST team can make a go-no-go decision based on a positive V measurement 24 hours before the scheduled time. This will help avoid losing the allocated orbits.
