Alert Notice 771: V1117 Her in deep fade again
Abstract:
AAVSO Young Stellar Object (YSO) Section leader Michael Poxon requests coverage of the YSO V1117 Her, which is at a deep minimum of visual magnitude 15.1 as of 2022 March 9.45 UT. Continuing coverage is requested to monitor this YSO.
Justification:
V1117 Her has experienced deep minima at semi-regular intervals of about 400 days. However, the last comparable minimum was only about 100 days ago, indicating potential new processes in the circumstellar environment.
