Monitoring of V452 Vul = HD 189733 requested
Abstract:
Rob Zellem (NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory) requests AAVSO observers to monitor exoplanet host star V452 Vul (HD 189733, exoplanet HD 189733b) in support of HST/WFC3 observing campaign for 2D spectroscopic mapping of the exoplanet.
Justification:
Observations will support an ongoing Hubble/WFC3 campaign to perform 2D spectroscopic mapping of the exoplanet. AAVSO observations will determine if variability impacts the measured signal by Hubble or place constraints on planetary variability.
