Monitoring of V338 Boo
Active Dates: July 12, 2022 – Oct. 15, 2022
Abstract:
Monitoring of the double-mode RR Lyr variable V338 Boo to fully characterize the long-term changes of this RR Lyrae variable star.
Justification:
Follow-up observations are needed to more fully characterize the long-term changes of V338 Boo, a double-mode (RRd) RR Lyrae variable star. Previous observations, including from TESS, showed major changes in the star's pulsation properties over tens of days. Longer monitoring is required due to the insufficient observation window of TESS, which was only about 54 days.
