AB Aur HST observations scheduled
Abstract:
The campaign involves observing the young Herbig Ae star, AB Aur, with the Hubble Space Telescope on December 31, 2023, to January 1, 2024. Observers are also asked to focus on observations from December 30, 2023, to February 2024, particularly using Rc, B, V, and Halpha filters. The goal is to study the star's variability and accretion processes.
Justification:
Observations made with Halpha and other filters will best support the science goals of understanding the variability and accretion processes of AB Aur.
